I just woke from a dream. In my dream, I was searching and searching and searching for my red pick-up truck throughout a parking lot. By the end of the dream, my red pick-up truck was a Bible, I was then searching and searching for my Bible.
When I awoke, the following question popped in my head. Are you seeking a relationship with everyone else, or with me (God)? Yes, I applied this question to me, but for a moment, could you ask yourself this question? Are you seeking a relationship with everyone else, or with me (God)? Are you seeking a relationship with a: television, co-worker, phone conversation, joke, another good book (not the Bible), church member, i-pod... or with me (God)?
I do not own a red pick-up truck, so for a moment I thought about the significance of the red pick-up truck. Am I feeling empty like the back of the pick-up truck? Not really. Do I know where my Bible is? Yes, and I love reading it, and spending time with God. Why was the truck red? The red words in the Bible are my favorite. Are you searching for a relationship with God? Are you feeling empty? Are you searching for red? Are you searching for Jesus?
Today, I decided to NOT read where I left off in my Bible yesterday. I just opened the Bible and began reading. Are you curious to know what passage of Scripture I studied from? I BEG YOU TO READ - Jeremiah, chapter 4. (God Almighty wants YOU to read it!!! - I BEG YOU!!!)
God Bless!
In His Mighty Hands,
Love, Glen (These words from God, Jeremiah chapter 4, are WAY more important than any song!!!)
