First, let me tell you to NOT ‘pop’ (punch) a Preacher.

It seems here lately, in my writings, like ‘Open House', I have PUNCHED the PREACHER a good one, which was NOT my intension!!! Please forgive ME!!!

Don’t we all POP the PREACHER from time to time: His/her sermon was too long; the sermon was too short; I wish HE would have said this; I wish the preacher wasn’t a SHE; the preacher should talk more about Jesus' amazing LOVE & amazing Grace (that was from me); that preacher shouldn’t drive a Cadillac; have you seen that preacher’s house (its too BIG); this preacher has this motive, this preacher has that motive, they should do this, they should do that…  its no wonder preachers get in there cars and ‘skip’ town!  Do you know what? – they seldom do – do they!!! (Probably because of the YUMMY FOOD - KEEP COOKING!) No, they stay and take the ABUSE, because... hopefully, they are dedicated to reaching lost souls for Jesus Christ! 

Preachers, especially in America, get the wrong end of the deal!!! Especially if you watch television!!! IF you watch sitcoms like I used to, then you have seen Hollywood make fun of preachers.
 

Let’s be honest, many folks criticize PREACHERS (We are TRULY critical about EVERYTHING)!!!

It takes a strong Christian to NOT POP the PREACHER.  I just lied!!! They too POP the PREACHER!!!

I am GUILTY. But none-the-less, I publish to the world, the TRUTH, as I see it. Yes, I too have had my feelings HURT by a PREACHER. You may be telling me that ‘I asked for it’, but I’m talking about BEFORE I STARTED WRITING (click HERE).

Before and after I started writing, I heard from (2) preachers something like this: Well, you shouldn't say that because you're NOT a PREACHER... During my last ‘lecture’ from a preacher, I responded ‘THANK GOD’ – because I can say what I NEED to say!!!

Which is probably why preachers take so much heat. 

First and foremost, if you are a preacher teaching that there is more than ONE way to HEAVEN (other than Jesus Christ), then click HERE!

Preachers need to SPEAK from the MOUNTAIN TOPS, and they NEED to say EVERYTHING that GOD has laid it ON their HEARTS to say (and teach the same Jesus that is described in the Bible), and quit WORRYING about the members TOES being CRUSHED or CUT OFF. TRUTH may hurt our feelings, BUT the TRUTH sets US FREE - John 8:32!!! Jesus had a problem with one group of people especially, and it WAS the self-righteous preachers!!!

The reason Jesus had a hard time with the PREACHERS, is because, it was the PREACHERS that thought they had it going on (click HERE), and were delivering the WRONG message ‘Hate your enemies’, ‘don’t trust the LEAST of THESE’, don’t be friends with the ‘LEAST of THESE’, Let's justify gossip (talking negatively behind the LEAST of THESE backs - & YES they talked about Jesus' back too... and they KILLED Jesus on the cross!!! Well, we all killed Jesus, right?)... the preachers preached GIVING, but they themselves wore expensive clothing, drove nice ‘cars’, and lived in big houses…  yes, these statements could be chopping off toes, but this is how us ‘normal’ people see things, and to the Christians that think he/she is above others (please click HERE)!!!

Truth hurts! Speaking the TRUTH hurt Jesus on the cross, get over it, deal with it, go have a good cry, do what ever it takes!!!  Because this next statement is the TRUTH – Satan is ‘POPPING’ us a GOOD ONE; keeping MOST of the lost sheep of this world from church and from a relationship with GOD, by ‘playing’ our own stupid GAMES of back-biting, judging others, and placing ourselves above others!!!

The NORMAL people are sick and tired of preachers being POLITICALLY CORRECT... all of the RED TAPE, THE BULL CRAP, TIP TOEING THROUGH THE TULIPS…

IF we are living near the END TIMES, then why aren’t we LIVING like it??? Since we're not sure when Jesus is coming back, then let's focus on TODAY, because there are many lost souls that need the GOOD NEWS message each SUNDAY, because they are not guaranteed a tomorrow here on earth!!! SO WHAT, that you WILL lose your ‘DEAREST’ members, if you preach the same GOOD NEWS message each SUNDAY, Jesus cared more about the one lost sheep that got away (Click HERE!). I say dearest member, but I mean… well, I’ll be NICE – JUST LET THEM LEAVE if they don't like hearing the GOOD NEWS!!!  Bye Bye, see you later alligator, after a while crocodile, don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord split you…  COME ON, WAKE UP!!!  

We TRULY need to step out of our cozy boxes (churches) and start PREACHING – ALL OF US – NO MATTER WHAT THE PERSECUTION – which you WILL be persecuted for speaking the TRUTH (I've heard recently from a friend that a church has laid Mark 16:14-19 to rest... to rest?  Jesus said these words!!!). SPEAK THE TRUTH & SPEAK IT OFTEN, JESUS' MESSAGE of WHOEVER BELIEVETH John 3:16 (even to the poor, drug addicted, homeless, jobless, divorced... click HERE), EVEN IF YOU ARE PUT INTO JAILS, EVEN IF IT KILLS US (like Jesus). 

Jesus hung around sinners (did He have a choice?) We are all sinners, and yes, Jesus had a choice... He chose to die for each one of us... even those with a criminal past (click HERE).
 

IT was a preacher that told me that MY life story may be UNRELATABLE to my viewing audience, that my 'audience' might not be able to relate to my many 'past' issues, and gave me the advice of stop burning bridges. (this was after this preacher read my inspiration 'Fish Bowl' Click HERE). My rebuttal was this: ‘I find it hard to believe that a preacher, of 20+ years, could not see and hear stories about teen pregnancy, drug addiction, lying, stealing, felons, broken relationships, child abuse…!!!  ‘ I then offered him my opinions, that maybe he should step away from his air-conditioned office and hitting the streets (like Jesus did), because outside the church walls, people have real problems!!!  I mean they don’t HIDE from them, their PROBLEMS!!! I recommended that he (since He is the pastor that stands at the door) look for people that are hurting, with real problems, get to know them, then let them know that he HEARS them. He doesn't have to relate, he doesn't have to agree, but he should probably say "I HEAR YOU", because people that come to church, for the first time, either come because someone has BEGGED them, GUILTED them into it, or because they are HURT and they need HEALING (which is why I went)!!! Lost people leave church much faster than we can get them there!!!

Jesus knew where the HEALING would take place, and HE didn’t suggest to 'have church' within EXPENSIVE buildings with gold rails, big chandeliers, expensive sound systems...! Did He? God bless our little hearts! Where 2 or more are gathered in His name (Jesus) there He is. Now with that said, I also know that there are LARGE churches that give more than a 1/4 of what they bring in to MISSIONS, they have food pantries, Christian schools, and there is POWER in numbers. But, let's not abuse that power by acting as if we have achieved, lets send some people out as missionaries in our own town. Yes, each member should be a missionary, so let's get them FIRED UP to hit the streets!!! A deep foundation on the real Jesus is best (found by reading the red words in the Bible). The GOOD NEWS message (click HERE) should be preached weekly - daily.

It is O.K. to NOT relate to other's problems, but it's NOT o.k. to NOT LISTEN TO THEIR PROBLEMS (because you're too busy, too important, because your britches are too HIGH and TIGHT!!!). If you are too busy, then have a plan 'B' when the hurting stop by your office. OFFER THEM (THE HURTING HEARTS) the SOLUTION & HEALING POWERS of JESUS CHRIST (who does, by the way, have SUPERNATURAL POWERS beyond our FAITH!!!: Mark 16:14-19!!!) If you do have a large church, then I do understand if you are busy... so please find people in your church that are willing to meet and counsel those that need attention and healing... and quit turning people away!!!

Preachers, like politicians (sometimes) go into their ‘professions’ with all the RIGHT reasons and for the RIGHT cause, but then turn out MORE crooked than before (trying desperately to save their jobs) - again, because we are CRITICAL. 

You may be asking me, Glen? Why are you being so disrespectful? Why are you trying to hurt the church? I am NOT!!! Have you seen the statistics lately? 3 out of 10 pastors are addicted to porn. Children are still being molested (which by the way - I hope you realize that if you counsel a family in your church and they tell you about child abuse at home - you ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO REPORT IT. 30% of 'Christians' believe there is more than one way to Heaven (other than Jesus Christ)... (If you are addicted, then please click HERE, or seek help... God gives you a choice to seek help... you do have a choice!!!) If you are a FATHER molesting your children, then I beg you to read the last verse of the Old Testament (again).

If this inspiration does not apply to your pastor, priest, preacher... or your church, then PRAISE GOD, and please disregard (or forward this inspiration on to make a difference). Thank you!
 

So what are we to do about it? What is the SOLUTION?

Put your LISTENING EARS on, and I will tell you, that is if you don’t SHUT down, if I may step on some toes, if you want to put some ACTION to your PASSION.

1. Tell us the TRUTH! And TELL us about JESUS - like explained in the BIBLE (click HERE)!!! The best preachers I’ve listened to are the ones that when we walk away from their sermons, we say: 'Wow, that was good, he didn’t hold back, I love how he's DOWN to EARTH, Wow, I love hearing preaching like that, He teaches JESUS, He/She loves Jesus, that message made old Mrs. Prune Juice’s face turn red, that was the truth, preach it brother!!!
2. We are tired of the messages that are POLITICALLY CORRECT!!! Jesus was NOT POLITICALLY correct and was PERSECUTED for it!!! IF you are worried about who WON’T give to the COLLECTION plate any more, than SHAME on you (if this isn't your preacher, then I'm not talking about him), and if most of your messages revolve around SHAME & RAISING MONEY FOR YOUR NEW BUILDING PROJECT (if your cup is overflowing, then you shouldn't have to preach on giving to your building project)… PLEASE PREACH on the LOVE of JESUS, FORGIVENESS, FAITHFULNESS, MERCY, THE CROSS!!!... and how WE SHOULD BE LIKE THE REAL JESUS, or we WON’T LISTEN, well… the NORMAL people anyway!!!
3. Do I need a third?

Call me a DREAMER, call me RADICAL, call me whatever you want. But MY goal is to get people back to JESUS (and to church – if we can get the church to be the arms, legs, hips, toes, of JESUS CHRIST - telling others about the GOOD NEWS OFTEN!!!)

Now, I can stop ‘POPPING’ the preacher square in the heart (which if you are a decent preacher, then you shouldn't have a problem with this inspiration)!!! I am not your judge, God is!!! Again, it is NOT my intension to make you mad, and it may not ALL your preacher's fault, it may be 'the board members' or the church's 'corporate office'!!!

The next time you want to ‘POP’ the preacher in his mouth, I want you to remember what I say NEXT (what I said before was FOR THE PREACHERS mostly).

1. IF you want to judge the preacher, why don’t you BECOME one. IT is NOT easy to PREACH to a SELFISH and CRITICAL world, that would RATHER stay lost, so they may do whatever they wish!!!
2. Get off of your couches and hit the streets, better yet, start at your workplace!!! Talk about Jesus (not rules – His love) Show LOVE, not tiredness, discouragement, hopelessness, depression… have you lost your JOY that God has given you?  Try to remember what Jesus went through before and on the cross you big COMPLAINER. (the same attitude was given to Moses, and believe me when I say this: the Israelites had more to complain about than you, so dry it up!) 
3. Try to LISTEN to other's PROBLEMS (Are you HEARING them?!!!), then OFFER THEM THE SOLUTION of JESUS, not Weight Watchers, more sleep, more gossip, more pills, more good movies, more reality t.v. shows (click HERE), more of your cute ideas… Jesus, the REAL Jesus! (click HERE) 

The next time YOU drink POP: Diet Coke, Pepsi (yes, I said Pepsi - get over it), Mountain Dew, Ginger Ale, Root Beer (oh my gosh, I said the word ‘BEER’, my heavens... there are more alcoholics in your church than you realize... so adding a class for that would be nice... don't just push them down the street... or they just may live there!) Before I tell you about POP, let me say this: You may have to go outside during your 15 minute breaks at work, and spend your breaks with ‘those dreaded SMOKERS’ to witness to them about Jesus - to show them that YOU ARE HUMAN TOO & NOT ABOVE THEM - TELL THEM WHAT HAS MADE YOU SO RIGHTEOUS - JESUS CHRIST'S BLOOD!!! If they are smoking, then they are probably HURTING (emotionally and physically). You may have to stop being the GOODY 2 SHOE that NEVER shows your weaknesses, THAT EVERYONE SEES ANYWAYS!!!)

The next time you drink pop (which by the way, if you drink just one can a ‘soda’ a day, you are drinking 40 gallons of pop per year – which is why you might have: head aches, cavities, heart attacks, no tolerance for OTHERS... Folks listen, we all have our problems (even preachers): Romans 3:23. Let’s start PRAYING for OUR PREACHERS (Pray Over Preachers = POP). They really do get enough HEAT, and they are probably ready for HEAVEN - NOW!!!. The next time you drink pop, please pray for our preachers - you might as well get something good out of drinking pop, right?

Preachers get the wrong end of the stick, but they should, because if we lose our lives in this world, then we will find our lives again in Heaven with Jesus.

Love your Preacher, protect your pastor, pray for him or her (which I smell an upcoming inspiration about women preachers - they might just be doing what God has called them to do (like Joyce Meyers) - call them what you will - but they might be leading souls to Jesus Christ (are you?), quit the gossiping (talking about the Preachers and their families behind their backs) (the preacher’s family is POPPED often enough by this abuse). Love one another as you love yourself!!!

Preachers – don’t make me come to your church and put a pad lock on your doors!!! Which is a really good idea!!! Let’s start having church in the streets, where the members of this society can see us Christians (in jeans and a t-shirts), helping others, singing LOUD, lifting our hands, worshipping the ONE (Jesus Christ) who saved us all (even you - old Mrs. Prune Juice!!!)

Let’s get our JOY back, Let’s make some RADICAL changes!!!  For Jesus Christ!!!

IT amazes me the most that the Preachers and the faithful members (who study the Bible the most), just never seem to get the GOOD NEWS message of JesusChrist (losing your life to find it). Wise up, snap out of it, buckle up for a BUMPY ride, and let’s have some FUN, let’s make some NOISE!!!  Let's NOT let SATAN win!!! We now have a religion rising up that wants to cut our heads off (church members - keep COOKING!!!)

Yes, you’re saved and your family is too, but that’s not all that Jesus wants from you!!!
