Whoever BELIEVES (in Jesus) will LIVE... FOREVER! John 3:16
Believe now... live forever... sounds good to me! This is what keeps me going... fighting temptations, loving and telling others, pressing towards the mark, running the race...
Do we get tired? We better believe it! Do we give into temptations? We better believe it! Do we stop running? Have you? This is why... it is required of us... to BELIEVE in Jesus to LIVE.
Was Jesus tempted? We better believe it! Luke 4:1-2
"He faced all of the same temptations we do." Hebrews 4:15
Did Jesus ever give up? No! Did Jesus give in? No... thus, He gets to save us.
What kept Jesus going? Setting His affections on things above. Focussing on "the joy that God put before him" Hebrews 12:2
Jesus set his eyes ahead towards His glorious future... and what He saw gave Him the strength to finish... Jesus loves you... and He suffered for you and me... so we could LIVE with Him!
Don't give up! Don't give in! Set your eyes ahead to the feast... Believe in Jesus and Live... Set your eyes upon Him! Jesus loves you!
