Raise your hand if you liked Little House On The Prairie (both of my hands are raised).
What a great show!!!
However, it was difficult to watch Little House and not have a tear or two fall down your face. When Mary lost her baby in the fire... when Laura wished her baby brother away and he died... when Mary went blind... when Laura pushed Nellie down the big hill while sitting in the wheel chair (tears of laughter)... when Harriot fell backwards in the rocking chair (tears of laughter)... I just loved Little House on the Prairie!!!
Wasn't it great to watch them all come to church with their horse and buggies. Then we watched them get together after church for a picnic. The kids playing ball in the courtyard was great too.
My favorite was watching the Reverend read from the Bible (Psalms 23)... and I especially loved the end of the services, as they would sing the old familiar hymns like Bringing in the Sheaves...
Through good times and bad, they rang the bell, and met at the church for comfort. Some of my comforting times remembered are gathered at the church.
