You may be asking yourself, what is so amazing about Grace?
What is Grace?
My little girl’s middle name is Grace, so it is my job to teach her what Grace means.
Both Lauren (age 7) and Jack (age 3) know well what Grace means, because I have taught them well.
Often times when my children do something really bad and they deserve a spanking, instead of spanking them, I ask them if they want my Grace – immediately they say YES! Then, I give them my Grace, and I set them
You would think this type of 'freedom' would either spoil a child, or that they would misbehave more. Well, I have been told by others that my children behave better than most, and I believe as parents, we need to show our kids more Grace!
Now, if you glance up two paragraphs (the first word is ‘Often’). I said ‘Often times’ I give Grace, because not every time do they receive my Grace, sometimes they do receive a spanking. But, as God as my witness, I can’t remember the last time I’ve had to spank either child. This is a perfect example of how a little bit of Grace can ‘go a long way’.
There is a film out now called ‘Amazing Grace’ by Samuel Goldwyn Films. It is a powerful film indeed. From watching the film, I know that the 'Grace' described in this film was Amazing, because after years of oppression, the slaves were set
It is well known that Abraham Lincoln was the President and hero that FREED our slaves, but I’m going to tell you something about Abraham Lincoln that you may not know. Going into the Civil War, his intentions were not to
As with most American Presidents, President Lincoln was receiving much pressure from American citizens. Many folks in the North wanted slavery abolished (for the slaves to be set
After the ‘
Now, I'm sure Abraham Lincoln had a heart, and he probably didn’t want slaves either, but going into the war, President Lincoln made it very clear to the Southern States, that they could KEEP their slaves, if they just agreed to no more ‘new slave states'. Well, these new States and the Southern States were not satisfied with President Lincoln's compromise, thus the Civil War began.
Since the Northern States needed more help fighting against the Southern States, Abraham Lincoln decided to
After a five year war (costing 600,000+ lives), of course the North 'won', and all of the slaves were then set '
This goes to show you that just a little bit of GRACE (fighting for no more new slave states) went a long way.
Almost 150 years later, we know who was truly responsible for setting the slaves
God explains in the Bible, that we are only saved from Hell – by God's Grace. Even though we know we all deserve punishment from God - with God’s Grace - we can ALL go to Heaven when we die (and not Hell).
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by GRACE you have been saved, through FAITH – and this not of yourselves, it is the
Grace truly comes from God, and it is a
If you’ve ever asked yourself ‘what do I need to do to get to heaven?’, just ask God for His Amazing Grace! All you need to do (like any gift) is to receive this
God made you and He doesn’t want you go to HELL – God LOVES You! No matter what you’ve done to deserve punishment, God will forgive you (just ask and receive)!!! God sent His Only Son Jesus to die on the cross (as payment for your sins). Just tell God that you are sorry for the bad things you’ve done, and ask God for His

You CAN'T work your way to HEAVEN by good deeds!!! You can only get to Heaven 'with' God’s Amazing Grace (Jesus). But, what I have found out is this. When I realized what God’s Amazing Grace did for me (saved me), and that God LOVED ME (Just as I was), then I wanted to love God back by trying to do good things for God, and not bad things. But, again, good deeds will not save you from HELL!!!
I have a 3-year-old-son Jack. I don’t think I could have Jack killed to save the world (you), but that is exactly what God did with His ONLY son Jesus.

February, 2008, I lost my mom (and best friend, age 64). Don’t worry I’ll find her again in Heaven!!! The day I started my car to drive to my mom’s funeral, I heard this song begin on the radio (click below). I had heard this song before, but not like this! This was my mother’s favorite song, and she requested (throughout her life) that we play this song at her funeral. God showed me, by having this song sung to me (when I needed it most), again just how Amazing His Grace really is. God's Amazing Grace NEVER STOPS! Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by GRACE you have been saved, through FAITH – and this not of yourselves, it is the
