Not long ago, each waking day, I played a game called ‘Hide and Seek'. I would HIDE - smoke my drugs, then would leave from hiding, and SEEK God's blessings over my life.  Day after day and year upon year of hiding and seeking, I realized, it wasn't a game to God. What seemed to be fun at first, turned into heartache, pain, and regret.

I found that one can hide from family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, but you just can't hide from God. God knows what you are trying to hide from. Yes, my vice might have been my drugs..., but even if you are reading this as a Christian, you know exactly what your vice is - even if its ‘just' your tongue.

There is no peace and joy when we choose to disobey God. As a matter of fact, when we play the hide and seek (non-game), we then live in depression and wait for God's judgment to fall upon us.

Isn't God so good to show us new MERCY, each and every new day?

Today, I try hard to ‘play' the (non-game) ‘In Jesus Name'. In many of my writings, I refer to my breaking point or contribute my freedom to the night that I finally understood and believed in ALL of God's powers, and stopped doubting what God could do for me.

Mark 16:14-19 is the promise that I hold onto with my all of my life, because it is the Scripture God gave me to save my life!!!  The day I told myself that I was going to just have FAITH in God, and stop relying upon my own understanding - that's the day God turned my life around.

I was holding my Bible, and I told God that I needed the Faith to really Believe, and I asked God to show me the Scripture to support this belief. When I opened my Bible, the first verses I read were Mark 16:15-18 (they are also in red).

It's when we stop doubting, and truly believe in all of the POWERS of JESUS NAME, that we as Christians will: Heal others (and ourselves), cast out demons from others (and ourselves), eat and drink poison (and not die from it), touch anything evil (and it not hurt us).

Folks, the In Jesus Name ‘game' is not a game!!!  Our God paid a HIGH PRICE for the Grace and Mercy we receive daily.

THANK YOU FATHER GOD - THANK YOU JESUS - THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT!!!

We truly have many miracles to be thankful for this week, and for the rest of our lives!
