Most addictions are bad for our health. I've heard from professionals that over-eating is directly connected to emotional problems. This may be true; however, does eating fatty foods need to be linked to emotional problems? I think the main problem is that FAT TASTES GOOD!!!
Why does all of the harmful things taste so good? Why can't carrots taste like chocolate?
In the film Jesus Camp, a young 12 year-old-boy said something like this: 'Sin is like candy... it tastes good... and it is fun to eat... but I don't want the candy of this world... I just want the meat of Jesus.'
John 6:35 "Then Jesus declared, " I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."
