I AM FREE INDEED
911

In this inspiration, you will learn who to FEAR (God), how to FEAR (God), what to FEAR about (God), and the Biblical solution to be FREE from FEAR (fear of anything harming you). The question is, Are you ‘man’ enough to know The Truth?

The revelation that God gave me this morning, by studying His Word, is – well – FRIGHTNINGLY FREEING!!!

For many of us, we've known for many years the verse Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but the foolish despise wisdom and discipline.” You must choose now if you want to be wise or foolish. Let me just say - in this case, ignorance is NOT blissful.

For many of my 17+ years of smoking marijuana, I would pray for God to NOT give me wisdom, because I wouldn't LISTEN (obey Him). I knew enough to know better, that I was disobeying God by my drug addiction, which I really didn't see an end in sight. I depended heavily on my addiction, because it was the tool that ‘freed’ me from the TRUTH. There are many TRUTHS to be FRIGHTENED by today:

If you're one of those TOUGH GUYS/GALS, that believes in your heart, that you have NOTHING TO FEAR, the following is a short list of items that most of us 'NORMAL' people fear. I want you tough folks to see how many items, on this short list, you are afraid of. Ready?

Death, deadly snakes, drowning, cancer, lawyers, deadly spiders, decapitation, Islam, removal of God’s protection, admission to a nursing home, penniless, debt, losing your home, Satan (evil), fire, AIDS, needles, teenagers, guns, starving, gossip, rape, kidnapping, God’s wrath, your child’s funeral…

If we were wise, then we would admit that we're afraid of the removal of God’s wrath & His hedge of protection (if not, please read the Book of Job). If you wish to stay foolish, then DON’T fear God at all.

Do we
know HOW to fear God? For many years, I knew that I was supposed to fear God, but I didn’t know why or how.

When my kids were born, I did fear God, because I relied on God's protection over my children. I realize how foolish I was in this area of truly ‘fearing’ God (the way He wants us to fear Him). I did manage to not care about my own death, for I knew in my heart that God would rescue me by His Amazing Grace, and that I would arrive in Heaven.

God will show you, like He just showed me, HOW & WHY we're supposed to FEAR Him.

Let the bolded Scripture above begin your own revelation (Proverbs 1:7). I do recommend you read the entire 1st chapter of Proverbs for yourself, because I will be skipping important verses. This 1st chapter in Proverbs and three other verses from Proverbs were the only Scripture I needed (for God to speak directly at me), in regards to HOW & WHY I should FEAR Him. God also showed me ONE verse that set me FREE from this FEAR (of anything harming me) as described in the bolded list above: drowning, lawyers, snakes, gossip…).

This is your last chance to stop reading! If you want to stay foolish, I recommend you close this inspiration, because if you continue reading, you will have NO EXCUSE of pleading ignorant. However, as with the society we live, ignorance is NO EXCUSE of breaking the law, so you may as well continue reading! That is if you wish to FIND FREEDOM from FEAR…

Proverbs 1:8-19 “Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. My son, if sinners entice you, do not give into them. If they say, “Come along with us…” do not go along with them, do not set foot in their path; for their feet rush into sin… Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it.

Proverbs 1:23 “If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you.”

Proverbs 1:24-27 “But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand, since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you – when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when distress sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.”

Proverbs 1:28-30 “Then they will call on me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me. Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to FEAR the Lord, since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke,

Proverbs 1:31-32 “they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them;”

Solution (FREEDOM):

Proverbs 1:33 “But whoever LISTENS to me will live in safety and be at ease, without FEAR of harm.”

After reading this passage of Scripture, I tried desperately to fall back to sleep because I am suffering from a head-cold. I started to ‘meditate’ and think about the number 911:

  1. I thought about September 11, 2001 (9-11), and the fear that must have consumed those sitting at their desks (looking over – out the window – at the HUGE planes getting ready to demolish them. I thought about the fear of the folks that jumped (off the building). The panic of the stair-case situation. The folks trapped on the upper levels. The fear of those watching television, with relatives and friends in the building…

  1. I thought about the 'everyday' 911 dispatchers, and the many ‘fearful’ calls they must receive. Dispatchers hear things that I’m extremely thankful I don’t.

  1. I thought to myself to look up Proverbs 9:11, just to see what it says. Proverbs 9:11 “For through me your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.”

Then I thought to myself that I would read the verse before Proverbs 9:11, and the verse after: Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs 9:12 “If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.”

If you were wise, then you would read Jeremiah, Chapters 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Sounds like America to me!!!
